Terms of Service
Version 1.0 · Effective October 17, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of MyLeadTech, including the Web App, the REST API and the MCP server (the "Service"), provided by th1b4ut.dev, Rue Pierre Charron, 75008 Paris, France, SIRET 821 842 317 00025 ("MyLeadTech", "we", "us"). "You" means the business that uses the Service and the individuals who use it on its behalf.
1. Who may use the Service
MyLeadTech is a business-to-business service for HVAC/R professionals. It is not offered to consumers and may be used only for professional purposes.
By creating an account or by accepting these Terms when prompted, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you act on behalf of a business, and that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms. If you invite other people to your company workspace, you are responsible for their use of the Service.
The contract is formed when you create an account, with an email address or with Google sign-in, and accept these Terms. A paid subscription is added to that contract when you complete checkout. Consumer withdrawal rights do not apply because the Service is reserved for professionals.
2. The Service
MyLeadTech helps you find manufacturer technical documentation (equipment lookup, manuals, fault codes) and answers technical questions with references to the source pages. It is available through the Web App and, for developers, through a REST API and an MCP server.
Documentation coverage varies by manufacturer, product line and model, and is shown in the product. We add, update and occasionally remove documents. The absence of a document, model or brand does not mean that none exists.
We may change, improve or discontinue features. If a change materially reduces a paid feature you rely on, we will tell you in advance where reasonably possible.
3. Accounts and team access
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials and API keys confidential. Activity carried out with your credentials or API keys is treated as yours. If a credential or key is exposed, revoke it from your account and tell us.
One user may belong to one or more companies. Each company workspace has an owner who manages its members, roles, billing and invitations.
Conversations are private to their author by default. A conversation becomes visible to other members of the company only when its author shares it, and shared conversations are read-only for them.
4. AI assistance and HVAC/R safety
Answers are generated with the help of AI models and indexed documents. They may be incomplete, outdated or wrong, and a cited source may not apply to your exact model, serial range or installation.
MyLeadTech is designed for qualified HVAC/R professionals. Before acting on an answer, you must check the cited document, confirm that it matches the equipment, and follow the manufacturer's instructions, safety procedures, applicable codes and regulations, and refrigerant handling rules. Work only within your qualifications and licenses.
MyLeadTech does not inspect or control any equipment, does not certify an installation or repair, and does not replace a required inspection or the judgment of a qualified technician. It is not an emergency service: in case of a gas leak, fire, electrical hazard or other danger, make the site safe and contact the appropriate emergency services.
5. Trial, subscriptions and payment
A new company workspace may start with a free 14-day trial, without a payment card. During the trial, the workspace can include up to 3 billable technicians. When the trial ends, continued access to paid features requires a paid subscription.
Plans, prices, currency, billing period and seat rules are shown in the product before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card details. Prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. The operator currently benefits from the VAT exemption of article 293 B of the French General Tax Code; any tax that becomes applicable will be shown before payment.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing period until cancelled. You authorize us, through Stripe, to charge the payment method on file at each renewal and when you add seats.
If a payment fails, we may keep access open for a grace period of 7 days, then limit paid features until the payment is settled.
6. Cancellation, changes and refunds
You can cancel at any time from the billing settings of your workspace. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and access to paid features continues until then. You can resume a scheduled cancellation before that date.
Seat and plan changes are made from the billing settings and may be prorated, as shown before you confirm.
Fees already paid are not refundable, except where required by law or where we state otherwise in writing.
We may change prices for future billing periods. We will notify the workspace owner at least 30 days before a price increase takes effect, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
7. API and MCP use
API and MCP access requires an API key. Usage is measured in units, shown in your dashboard and through the usage endpoint. Each plan has its own monthly allowance; the Sandbox includes 100 free units per month. Equipment lookups and clarifying questions do not consume units, and a retried request with the same idempotency key is not charged twice.
The Sandbox is for development and testing, not for production traffic. Rate limits apply to protect the Service; requests above a limit may be delayed or rejected.
If you build an integration, you are responsible for your application and its users. You must show answers with their sources, must not present MyLeadTech output as manufacturer-approved, and must not use the API to copy, store in bulk or redistribute the documentation library.
8. Your content, third-party documents and acceptable use
You keep all rights in the questions, observations, files and other content you submit ("Customer Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process and display Customer Content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service. We do not use Customer Content to train AI models.
Manufacturer documents remain the property of their owners. You may consult them, cite them, and include short excerpts with their source in your own service records, reports and communications with your customers. You may not resell, republish, mirror or redistribute them, or extract them in bulk.
You must not: use the Service unlawfully; access it by automated means other than the API; probe, scan or circumvent authentication, quotas or rate limits; share accounts or API keys outside your company; upload malicious code or content you have no right to use; or place a load that harms other users.
9. Availability, suspension and termination
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, provider incidents and events outside our control may cause interruptions.
We may suspend access, with notice where reasonably possible, if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, create a security risk, or if required by law. We lift the suspension once the cause is resolved.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate these Terms for a material breach that is not remedied within 15 days of notice, or immediately for serious misuse. On termination, access ends and data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Warranties and liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that answers are complete, accurate or applicable to a given installation.
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profit, revenue or data. We are not liable for consequences of acting on an answer without checking its source and the applicable manufacturer instructions.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or gross negligence.
You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your Customer Content, your integration, or your use of the Service in breach of these Terms.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. Before any legal action, the parties will try to settle a dispute amicably: write to hello@myleadtech.app with a description of the issue. If no solution is found within 30 days, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Paris, France.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. The version and effective date at the top of this page change with each update. We will announce material changes in the product or by email at least 30 days before they apply. If you continue to use the Service after that date, the updated Terms apply; if you do not agree, you may cancel before then.
Questions about these Terms: hello@myleadtech.app.
